Kalev is now just days away from starting the Meistriliiga season against FC Nõmme Kalju. There have been 122 days since the last league match, and the team is ready to show the fans the hard work that the team has undertaken. The match is taking place on Saturday, the 4th of March, at Sportland Arena, with kick-off at 17:00 local time (15:00 GMT).

The 2023/24 season marks the club’s second consecutive season playing at the highest level in Estonia, and we are looking forward to building on 2022/23. Staying up was such a crucial objective last season, and now it is about consolidating our position and looking to be positive both on and off the field. The aim of our first game is to get our first points on the board against the team that finished fourth during the previous season and show that we are looking to be ambitious this season.

When focussing on Kalju, there is no doubt that sporting director Argo Arbeite has been able to bring in some impressive talents after entering the role last season. Belgian midfielder Olivier Rommens joined the side over the off-season from Lithuanian Premier League side Sūduva. He is potentially in line to debut against Kalev alongside other new additions, including Djibril Dianessy, who has joined from the French side Pau.

We can’t wait to get back to playing again, but we need your support to ensure we continue improving every day. Let’s help the blue-whites to victory together!
